Candidates must successfully complete an Airbus A320 Type Rating (A320 TR), Airbus A320 Zero Flight Time Training (A320 ZFTT), and the Resilience Development & Assessment Preparation (RDAP) course. RDAP was carefully designed to prepare Candidates for their transition to a multi-pilot, jet aircraft operational role. The course includes CBT based self-study, instructor-led online workshop and several simulator sessions on FTD and FFS.

The entry assessment consists of two main online components:

1. The Hogan Pilot Performance Profile: An online behavioral and psychological evaluation that evaluates a candidate's traits against ICAO core competencies under both normal and high-stress conditions.

2. An English Communication Interview: A 12-to-16 minute remote interview conducted via Zoom (or equivalent) with a joint panel of PCS and Mongolian Airways assessors.

You will be called for assessment relatively quickly as line flying must be commenced within 90 days of ZFTT completion. We will always endeavour to make sure time is working for you, therefore you may expect your assessment within 30-45 days of completing everything.

Line training begins roughly 2 weeks after the MCAA license is issued. It consists of 100 hours of line flying followed by a Progress Check, and then an additional 100 hours of line flying culminating in an MCAA Line Check.

Progress Check Failure: Depending on performance, an applicant may be allowed to purchase additional Line Training hours and repeat the check (Scenario A), be sent back to PCS for Development Training (Scenario B), or face dismissal from the program (Scenario C). Line Check Failure: Results in immediate dismissal from the program.

During the PCS Phase: All travel, accommodation, and visa costs are borne by the applicant. Discounted partnership rates are available at selected hotels. During the MA Phase: Accommodation, transportation, and visa arrangements are provided directly by Mongolian Airways. During Jet Time Building: On-duty accommodation and transportation are provided by MA. Additionally, 1 economy round-trip flight ticket is provided every 3 months from the placement station to designated MA hubs (up to 4 tickets per calendar year).

The self-sponsored program fees are broken down into phase-based payments:

• Registration fee of 500 USD before enrollment to receive Conditional Agreement Letter signed by both PCS and MA guaranteeing the terms of your program

• Paid to Pilot Check Services: 22,900 USD for the A320 TR Course, 2,900 USD for the A320 ZFTT Course, and 2,900 USD for the RDAP Course. Prices are subject to a 5% VAT for trainings in Dubai, UAE. Price may vary at other training locations subject to availability.

• Paid to Mongolian Airways: An initial payment of 40,000 USD is required to enter the MA phase. This covers the entire Indoctrination course, 200 hours of Line Training (including checks), and phase-specific transportation and accommodation.
